Welcome

Welcome to our school website – the staff and I hope you had a lovely summer holiday. At Consett Junior School our aim is to give your child the best Education possible. Our dedicated team aim to give your child the very best start in life, allowing them to grow and flourish in all that they do. We believe that a full, broad and balanced curriculum enables children to grow and develop as a rounded individual. It is not just in the classroom where our children develop, learning takes place in a variety of places, from Forest school to the school yard, from learning through sport or in our outstanding school band. I am committed to working with all to ensure that the educational experience that our children receive is second to none, and that Consett Junior School is at the heart of our community. .
