• Pupils should be cared for and enabled to develop self-esteem through all activities to grow as individuals.
• Pupils behaviour should reflect their respect for the school and its ethos, and show a responsibility for others welfare.
• Pupil attendance should be high reflecting a desire to learn and develop in a supportive environment.
• Staff should be skilled and well-motivated with a commitment to the development of all children in their care to achieve their maximum potential.
• The policies, curriculum and organisation of the school should be clear and agreed to enable effective teaching and learning.
• Parents and governors should be consulted and play an active role in the learning of the children and their development through school as individuals.
• The learning environment should be safe and attractive and reflect the vision and values in an overt way.
• All staff should be valued and encouraged to play as active a part as possible in the life of the school.
